FBI Seeks Public’s Help To Identify Black Mask Bandit

FBI News:

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the Black Mask Bandit who is responsible for a bank robbery Friday, July 8, 2022.

At approximately 4:53 p.m., an unknown male entered US Bank at 3000 Central Ave. SE. The suspect presented a demand note to a teller.

The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left the bank on foot heading east.

Suspect’s Description:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White or Hispanic
  • Age: 20s-30s
  • Height: 5’11”
  • Build: Slender
  • Hair: Black
  • Clothing: Short-sleeve black shirt, black mask, gray pants, dark shoes. 

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Note: Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
