FBI: Man Wearing NM Lobos Sweatshirt, NY Yankees Baseball Cap, Tries To Rob Albuquerque Credit Union

FBI News:

An unidentified man wearing a New Mexico Lobos sweatshirt and a New York Yankees baseball cap tried to rob a credit union this afternoon in Albuquerque.

The suspect tried to rob Rio Grande Credit Union at approximately 2:29 p.m. at 1201 San Pedro Drive NE.

He is described as a Hispanic or white male in his mid-30s, approximately 5’7” tall, with a skinny build.

He wore a red hooded sweatshirt with “New Mexico Lobos” on the front, a dark shirt under the sweatshirt, a white surgical mask, a dark New York Yankees baseball cap and dark pants.

The suspect walked into the bank and presented a demand note to a teller but didn’t get any cash.

He left the bank and was seen walking north.

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are investigating.
