YMCA News:
The Family YMCA kicked off a joyful WinterFest weekend with its annual Winter Vendor Market, welcoming more than 30 local vendors and close to 700 visitors. The atmosphere inside the gym at 1450 Iris Street was buzzing with excitement, warm conversations, and festive spirit.
This year’s market featured an incredible range of vendors, from young creators selling their first handmade items to established local artists showcasing jewelry, pottery, fiber art, baked goods, holiday crafts, and more. Families, friends, and neighbors enjoyed the chance to shop local and support community talent.
Outside, Fusion Tacos served fresh tacos all day and continued through the evening, staying open until after the WinterFest Light Parade. Stephanie cozied up outside selling knitted hats and was a favorite stop for visitors braving the December chill.
“We are so grateful for the amazing turnout,” Family YMCA staff said. “Events like this highlight how strong and creative our community truly is. Seeing people of all ages come together to support local vendors fills our building with so much joy.”
The Family YMCA thanks every vendor, volunteer, and community member who helped make this year’s Winter Vendor Market a success.
