The Family YMCA is gearing up for fun, learning, and adventure at this year’s Summer Camp. Designed to keep kids active, engaged, and learning throughout the summer. Y Camp will take place at Aspen Elementary School, running 7:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, from June 4 through July 24.
This year’s camp theme is Magic School Bus, inspiring campers to explore science, discovery, and imagination all summer long. Each week, children will dive into themed activities that encourage curiosity and hands-on learning.
Y Camp reinforces learning all summer with fun, interactive reading, science experiments, and arts projects. Campers will rotate through activity stations with their age group and participate in a variety of engaging activities.
In addition to enrichment activities, campers will enjoy plenty of group games, sports, and free play, ensuring every day includes both structured activities and time to connect with friends. The program includes two healthy snacks each day and entry for scheduled field trips, providing a full and active summer experience.
To help ensure all children have access to summer opportunities, financial assistance is available.
The YMCA is also excited to host its third annual Camp Family Day on July 17, a special afternoon celebration for campers and their families. The event will feature a barbecue, water play, face painting, and more. Returning again this year, Explora will lead engaging STEM activities during the event.
