Travis Weaver of White Rock and his family won Metzger’s $1,000 spring shopping giveaway during a drawing Tuesday at the store at 128 State Road 4. Store Manager Dan Saxton said the store will host another drawing for a $1,000 fall shopping giveaway in December. “When a customer comes into the store while the Spring and Fall Merchandise book is active, they fill out an entry form and put it in the box, no purchase necessary,” he said. The White Rock Metzger’s store is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week and now sells major appliances from the Whirlpool family of brands.
