New FSN Executive Director Jen Demas

Family Strengths Network (FSN) announces its new Executive Director, Jen Demas.

Demas has been the program coordinator for FSN for more than a year, leading Toddler Craft, Family Yoga/Move With Me, Monthly Playdates, and Toddler Tunes.

With an extensive background in working with children in a variety of settings, Demas has been a fan favorite during her time at FSN and has the superpower of connecting with kids of all ages.

In addition to FSN, Demas has worked in childcare for 20 years as a preschool teacher, a direct care specialist in a hospital for kids with special needs, an ABA therapy assistant, a children’s yoga business owner, and more.

Demas is married and she and her husband Jordan and two daughters, Carly, 10, and Rose, 7. She met her husband in college playing rugby, a sport that continues to play a significant role in their lives. They are also active in Los Alamos Little League with both their girls in softball and whose teams the couple has helped coach.

Of FSN, Demas says, “I love how it brings people together and helps families find their place in our community. I love that we have so many wonderful resources and so much amazing information to share!”

In her new role as executive director, Demas said she looks forward to being a more active member of the community and advocating for local families and is excited to get to know community members more and to watch FSN continue to grow.
