Head to the Los Alamos Nature Center on Tuesday, July 9 for an evening of fun and free programming for the whole family.
The evening begins with a Family Star Party at 5:30 p.m. in the planetarium. Astronomer Galen Gisler will show the audience constellations, planets and more. Then, join Melissa Mackey outside at Family Night to enjoy games, activities or crafts. Family Night runs 6-7 p.m. and both of these events are free to attend thanks to the Pajarito Environmental Education Center’s sponsors:
- New Mexico Bank & Trust sponsors the monthly Family Star Parties; and
- Kiwanis Club of Los Alamos sponsors Family Nights.
These programs take place on the second Tuesday of every month at the nature center. The nature center is open until 8 p.m. Tuesdays, so families are welcome to come before or stay after these programs to play.
