PEEC News:

Explore the mysteries of black holes at 7 p.m. today, Nov. 12, in the planetarium at the Los Alamos Nature Center.

Join Rick Wallace for a presentation of the full-dome movie “Black Holes”. After the movie, Wallace will host a short discussion and Q&A session on the origin, properties and evidence for black holes.

The film “Black Holes” takes the audiences on a fully immersive journey through one of the most mystifying, awe-inspiring phenomena in the universe: a black hole. Where do they come from? Where do they go? How are they found? Is there one on Earth’s horizon? What was Einstein’s connection to them? Find out in this exciting planetarium show.

Because seating is limited in the planetarium, advance registration is encouraged. Sign up now at peecnature.org/events to reserve a seat. Online registration will close at noon today, Nov. 12. If space is still available, PEEC will admit walk-up attendees at the nature center at the time of the presentation.

Planetarium events are not recommended for children under age 4.
