The New Horizons Dome Theater and Planetarium at the New Mexico Museum of Space History has unveiled a dazzling upgrade to its projection system, ensuring every visitor experiences the cosmos in spectacular detail!

To provide our museum goers with a world-class experience, we have invested in upgrading the planetarium. The latest upgrade includes high-performance computers with advanced graphics cards and Digistar software, which seamlessly integrates with our 4K laser projection system, delivering stunning images that are larger and brighter than ever before. Here to install it, COSM’s Field Service Engineer, Alex Richter, stated, “Digistar enables visitors not just to see, but explore and interact with the universe in ways only dreamed of until now.”

Paired with our immersive new sound system, the upgraded visuals are calibrated to provide a flawless, distortion-free viewing experience. Whether you’re marveling at the intricate structure of the Milky Way or flying through three-dimensional nebulae, Digistar technology brings the universe closer than ever before.
