The Albuquerque Photographers’ Gallery in Albuquerque’s Old Town will be exhibiting the art of former Los Alamos resident Kimber Wallwork-Heineman March 19 through April 16.
The show, “Troika — The Pull of Creativity” highlights Wallwork-Heineman’s photo based art works. Beginning with photographs, she refines and adapts them with paint, collages, and other digital alchemy into original creations filled with emotional and visual significance. The show exhibits her efforts to push her own creative boundaries.
Internationally known, Wallwork-Heineman’s work has graced the pages of New Mexico Magazine, Cowboys and Indians Magazine, Art Horse Magazine, Forum Magazine, Western Horseman and numerous other publications. She has won prizes and awards for her work from Spain to Santa Fe.
An opening reception will be held 3-8 p.m., March 19 at the Gallery, at Plaza Don Luis, Old Town, 303 Romero St. NW (upstairs) in suite N208 in Albuquerque.
