Española Humane has announced its much-anticipated Kitten Fiesta, a special event that invites the community to join in the celebration of an abundance of adorable kittens. In an effort to find these kittens their forever homes, the shelter is offering reduced adoption fees during this festive occasion.
The community is invited to join Española Humane 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Santa Fe Place, 4250 Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe, or 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Española Humane shelter at 108 Hamm Parkway in Española, Saturday July 29, for an unforgettable day.
During the Kitten Fiesta, kittens may be adopted for the special price of $30. But wait, there’s more! Española Humane believes that two kittens are better than one, so they are offering a two-for-one adoption special as well.
Bridget Lindquist, the shelter’s executive director, expressed her excitement, saying, “There’s nothing quite like the joy of watching a kitten play and explore. Now imagine the double dose of delight that comes from watching two kittens. We have an abundance of kittens in foster care and at the shelter this season, and it’s time to find them loving homes.”
With more than 200 kittens eagerly waiting to find their families, the Kitten Fiesta promises to be an event brimming with furry companionship. All kittens are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to be cherished by their new families.
As part of BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelter’s National Adoption promotion, Española Humane is extending its fee-waived adoptions on puppies and adult dogs until July 31. Additionally, all the pets come microchipped, and the dogs receive heartworm testing and six months of heartworm prevention. All cats are tested as well, ensuring their well-being.
