Española Bond House Museum: Lowrider Culture Exhibit

Bond House News:

Cruise on over to the Bond House Museum of Española and check out the Lowrider Culture Exhibit.

The collection is curated by the Lowrider Association of New Mexico and includes works from six artists:

  • Arthur “Lowlow” Medina;
  • Joan Medina;
  • Janette Quintana;
  • Ed Fields;
  • Anamaria Medina; and
  • Marisol Medina.

It will include lowrider arte, photographs, pinstriping, low rider bikes, airbrushed trunks, magazines, videos and model cars.

The collection is sure to give visitors an appreciation of why Española can brag that it is the Lowrider Capital of the World. Grab a friend and say 🎵 “Take a little trip with me…” 🎵 to the Bond House!

Exhibit hours are noon to 4 p.m. every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 405 N. Paseo De Oñate.

The Bond House Museum also features a permanent exhibit detailing the grand history of the Española Valley area as well as a photographic collection, Merchants of Our Past, which showcases business and trade from the 1800s to the 1960s.  

Admission is free. Donations are welcomed.
