The week’s Summer Concert, presented by Toyota of Santa Fe, produced by Sancre Productions and Los Alamos County Community Services Department and sponsored by Los Alamos Medical Center and COMPA Industries Inc., will feature, Escape On A Horse Friday, June 9 at Ashley Pond Park.
Escape on a Horse draws from the musical styles of Americana, rock and roll, country and bluegrass and has established themselves as unique musical-storytellers in northern New Mexico. The band began in 2016 as a collaboration of Daniel Jaramillo, David Fellenz, Allisyn Stanfield, Andrew Stocker and Ryan Little. The band got to work on self-producing and releasing their debut album in 2018 and it was nominated in 2019 for Best Country album by the New Mexico Music Awards. Following this nomination, David “Dog-House” Holtkamp joined the band on the mandolin and Seth Greenfield joined on bass guitar.
The band has gained a strong following reaching broad audiences across New Mexico and into the greater American Southwest. They have shared the stage with a variety of musicians including Grant Farm, Inaiah Lujan, Liver Down the River, and national country superstar James Carothers.

The Craft Beer & Cocktail Garden is presented by Boese Brothers Brewpub and The Long Pour. During the concert, nonprofits will be exhibiting near the stage at Nonprofit Row. There will be youth activities like face-painting, volleyball and a small video game arcade. The overall look and feel of the 2023 will be consistent with the vibe that locals have come to know and love since Sancre Productions took over the series in 2019 – the main reason why the series is now the BEST FREE Summer Concert Series in the state of New Mexico. Ashley Pond Park is an open-air venue, located in the heart of Los Alamos, there is no assigned seating locations and dancing is always welcome! Official After Party:
The American Legion Post 90 is hosting the Official After Party when the concert ends Friday night and includes a deejay, drink specials and artist appearances. They also have food! Come on out every Friday, follow the crowd, it’s walking distance from the Pond and all the great people from the previous spots have migrated there.
