Eric Anderson Best Predictor In ACRR Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News:

Eric Anderson was the top predictor in the Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR) weekly pace race held by the North Mesa Picnic Grounds on North Mesa. He was 8 seconds off his predicted time.

Other accurate predictors were:

  • Eliverio Acosta with a 15 second differential;
  • Aurea Rojas recording 27 seconds off;
  • Jan Velechovsky with a 30 second difference; and
  • Ted Romero at 49 seconds off.

On the 1-mile course:

  • Ryder Hetrick, 5, was the first finisher at 10:50; and
  • Adrienne Hetrick had a 10:52 for best female.

On the 2-mile course:

  • Eric Davis recorded a 20:16 for top finisher; and
  • Toni Batha was the first female with a time of 23:22.

On the 3-mile course:

  • Paul Geimer came in first with a 18:47; and
  • Lynn Bjorklund was the best female recording a 25:01.
Next week’s race will held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23 on the Burnt Mesa Trail in Bandelier National Monument. Take West Jemez Road (N.M. 501) to the “Back Gate” and turn left onto N.M. 4 East and head approximately a mile and three-quarters to the parking lot on the right hand side of the road. 1, 2, and 3 mile trail courses will be available.
