In one year, Enterprise Bank & Trust has risen from #35 to #3 on the Forbes annual list of America’s Best Banks for 2023.
Forbes list evaluates growth, credit quality and profitability to rank the 100 largest (by assets) publicly traded banks. This honor comes on the heels of Enterprise Bank & Trust being named a finalist – for the fifth year in a row – in the St. Louis Journal’s Best Places to Work List.
Enterprise Bank & Trust’s Los Alamos Region President Liddie Martinez spoke about the bank’s newly elevated position on the Forbes list.
“The relationships we develop with our clients gives us the insight needed to craft the customized solutions that propel them on their path to financial success,” Martinez said. “Our success is due to their success.”
In March 2019, Enterprise Financial Services Corp, the parent company of Enterprise Bank & Trust merged with Trinity Capital Corporation, the holding company of Los Alamos National Bank (LANB). LANB had assets of approximately $1.3 billion, which brought the combined total company assets to approximately $7 billion.
Enterprise Financial Services Corp President & CEO Jim Lally said at the time, “With this merger, New Mexico becomes Enterprise Bank & Trust’s second-largest market, which includes 34 full-service locations spanning St. Louis, Kansas City, Phoenix and now, New Mexico. As we integrate our organizations, we will remain true to the principles both of our companies were founded on: local decision-making, long-standing client relationships and engaged associates. Our goal for this union is to “grow together” – growing economic advantages for communities, opportunities for associates, value for shareholders – and importantly, growing choices for you, our clients.”
In July 2021 Enterprise Financial Services Corp merged with First Choice Bankcorp, which brought Enterprise Bank & Trust’s assets to approximately $12.7 billion.
