Enjoy Springtime Family Fun At The National Hispanic Cultural Center With Día Del Niño April 25

Head to the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) 11 a.m.–3 p.m., Saturday, April 25 for the annual Día Del Niño celebration and other free festivities throughout the day.

Día Del Niño is an opportunity to celebrate the youth in our community during this free event for families of all ages and sizes! Visitors can enjoy music, performances, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, and a youth art market featuring local vendors. Community partners like Explora, Street Food Institute, and the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science will also be present for demonstrations and information sharing.

Artists interested in being part of the youth art market can apply HERE through Friday, April 17. The application is open to all mediums and performers, but applicants must be 17 years old or younger.

Instituto Cervantes de Albuquerque’s celebration of International Book Day will be also happening at the Center from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. so parking may be limited. Please arrive early, carpool if possible, and follow signs to the event you’re looking for. Overflow parking is available east of the Center in the 4th Street parking lot.
