The Department of Energy’s Environmental Management Los Alamos Field Office (EM-LA) and cleanup contractor Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B) will host the second of two required 2021 biannual meetings for the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Individual Permit for Storm Water.
The meeting will be conducted virtually 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30.
The Individual Permit authorizes discharge of storm water from LANL sites where historical industrial activities occurred.
Discussion topics for the meeting include:
- Updates on the Individual Permit & Copper Site-Specific Water Quality Criteria;
- Communities for Clean Water Update;
- Monitoring Year 2021 Sample Results;
- Control Measure Construction Update; and
- Questions & Answers.
