Learn more about the legacy cleanup mission at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) at our community meeting for a year-in-review and updates on the hexavalent chromium plume 5-7 p.m. MST, Wednesday, Dec. 17. EM-LA and N3B will discuss the progress made over the past year to protect vital water supplies and safely dispose of legacy waste. The meeting will include a public Q&A.

Hosts: Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management Los Alamos Field Office (EM-LA) and its legacy cleanup contractor, Newport News Nuclear BWXT-Los Alamos, LLC (N3B). 

Background: This event will feature a presentation on the fiscal year 2025 year-in-review and a status on the Hexavalent Chromium Campaign, followed by a public Q&A.
