Homer was spotted with his as yet to be named honey Monday at Ashley Pond.
Homer is a beloved figure in Los Alamos and as such, naming his new girlfriend has become a big deal.
Readers have been sending in their favorite names to the Los Alamos Daily Post and since Monday night “Edna” has overtaken previous favorite “Marge” to surge to the top of the list.
The contest continues through 5 p.m. Friday – email top name choices for publication to caclark@ladailypost.com. The name with the highest number of votes will be announced by 7 p.m. Friday on the Post news site and Facebook page.
