ENMU News:

PORTALES — The Eastern New Mexico University Board of Regents affirmed the ENMU Administration’s December recommendation of a zero tuition increase for ENMU students for the 24-25 school year. The administration recommended no increase in tuition in December of 2023 but delayed requesting Board action while they reviewed the fee structure.

Today, the Board was also asked to approve a reduced online fee and eliminate the graduation fee. Substantial state support, continued strong enrollment, and improved retention of students made another zero percent tuition increase and reduced fee structure possible.

This marks the third year in which tuition and fees have not increased as the University continues to offer its students a high-quality education and experience at an affordable price.

“We continue our work to make higher education accessible and affordable,” James Johnston, ENMU Chancellor said. “Through the work of a great staff at ENMU and the continued investment in higher education by the State, ENMU remains a leader in high quality, affordable education.”

ENMU consistently ranks high in national and state rankings for affordability, with nationally recognized sites such as Forbes.com and Niche.com recognizing ENMU for its affordable offerings.
