‘Earth Is The Magnet Of The Sky’ Exhibit Closes Thursday

STEP UP GALLERY News:

The art exhibit, “Earth is the Magnet of the Sky”, closes Thursday, July 24 at Step Up Gallery at Mesa Public Library, which is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 1-5 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

Step Up Gallery at Mesa Public Library has hosted this showing of remarkable art by world-renowned artist Catherine Eaton Skinner since early June and it has attracted many statewide visitors. The exhibit of encaustic paintings, mixed media, and casted bronze sculpture examines the balance among the five elements: water, ether, earth, fire and wind.

The next exhibit at Step Up Gallery and in the library’s upper level meeting room is the Los Alamos County Fair and Rodeo Indoor Show, 4-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2.

Step Up Gallery (https://stepupgallery.org/) is on the top level of Mesa Public Library in Los Alamos, at 2400 Central Ave. The gallery is open during regular library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1-5 p.m.Sunday.
