Disabled Veteran and Rotary Hero Eric Schei Speaks in Los Alamos Tuesday

Disabled Veteran Eric Schei is the Rotary Hero honored during the Rotary’s District Conference in Albuquerque in May.

Schei is a young Army veteran from Albuquerque left paralyzed from the neck down by a sniper’s bullet in Iraq.

During the Los Alamos Rotary Club’s 11:45 a.m. lunch meeting Tuesday Nov. 13, at the Dixie Girl Restaurant, Schei will speak, with the help of his parents Gordon and Christine Schei, and technology, about his experiences serving his country.

Schei’s brother Devon, who was wounded in Afghanistan, may also attend Tuesday’s talk.
