POLITICAL News:

Despite torrential rains, some 40 people gathered Saturday evening for the Hillary for Los Alamos County Campaign Kick-Off event hosted by New Mexico Together.

Special guests at the event included Dist. 43 Rep. Stephanie Garcia Richard, local candidates for County Council Chris Chandler and Pete Sheehey who is running for re-election, and Katie O’Donnell Christoffersen – the Los Alamos County Lead for Hillary for New Mexico.

The event was originally planned at East Park but the rains drove the crowd into the local Democratic Campaign Headquarters in Central Park Square.
