DPLAC News:
The Democratic Party of Los Alamos County’s (DPLAC) monthly meeting is 6:30-7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 13, with open discussion starting around 7 p.m. for about 30 minutes.
This is a holiday and early voting will have started, but the candidates can benefit from all the help they can get in this likely to be low turnout election.
DPLAC will continue with its new meeting format that includes a short business meeting followed by open discussion.
Planned Agenda:
- Candidate introductions, 3 minutes each;
- Executive team updates (Chair, Vice Chair, Ward Chairs); and
- Ways to support school board candidates.
The business part of the meeting will conclude around 7 p.m., followed by open discussion. Snacks and beverages will be provided to those attending in person. The Zoom will continue running, so everybody who wants to join the discussion is welcome.
