SANTA FE – The Del Norte LOV (Living Our Vision) Foundation, an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization associated with Del Norte Credit Union (DNCU), has announced the opening of its fall 2024 grant cycle.

The Community Grant-Making program charitably contributes to organizations that support youth and families in New Mexico. The fall 2024 cycle of the Community Grant-Making program will evenly distribute a total of $15,000 among six recipients.

To be eligible for the fall 2024 grant cycle, applicants must:

  • Be a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization or have an equivalent fiscal sponsor;
  • Align with the Del Norte LOV Foundation’s mission to improve lives of youth and families in New Mexico, and address the need for one or all of these impact focus areas: at-risk youth, community enrichment, education & STEM, and arts & culture;
  • Apply for programmatic funding, not for salary wages or operational expenses; and
  • Not be a recipient of the previous spring 2024 grant-making cycle nor a 2024 calendar-year sponsorship program recipient.

From Sept. 16 to Oct. 16, 2024, nonprofit organizations and partners of the credit union are invited to submit an online application at delnortelovfoundation.org. Recipients of the fall grant-making cycle are scheduled to be announced in late 2024.

“The Del Norte LOV Foundation Board of Directors and Employee Foundation Committee Members are making a philanthropic investment and spreading the LOV for more New Mexican youth and families by expanding the Del Norte LOV Foundation’s Community Grant-Making Program through its fall 2024 cycle,” Del Norte LOV Foundation Director Connie Tooker Nuñez explained. “We are excited to offer more grant opportunities this cycle.
