Del Norte LOV Foundation: Community Generosity Breaks Records At 4th Annual Back-To-School Event

Del Norte LOV Foundation News:

ESPAÑOLA — On behalf of the co-hosts, Del Norte LOV Foundation, LANL Foundation, Triad LLC, Operator of Los Alamos National Laboratory, Española Public Schools, and Del Norte Credit Union, this was a record-breaking annual community event, and a wonderful time with 15 generous sponsors, 43 gracious table resource partners, and 66 dedicated volunteers during the 4th Annual Back to School Event, Saturday, July 2, at Carlos F. Vigil Middle School Athletic Field in Española.

As a community, we gave out more than $16,500 worth of school supplies, and an estimated 1,300 people attended from the Española Valley and surrounding communities to welcome them to the 2025-2026 academic year. We truly improved the lives of youth and families through essential school supplies, community resources, and summertime family fun.

The co-hosts give a heartfelt thank you and acknowledge community members, who donated school supplies during the Del Norte LOV Foundation and Del Norte Credit Union’s annual school supply drive, and to these fellow organizations and individuals for their participation in the 4th Annual Back to School Event.
