SANTA FE — Del Norte LOV (Living Our Vision) Foundation, a nonprofit organization and extension of Del Norte Credit Union, announces the opening of the 2023 Scholarship Program aimed at awarding $16,000 to local graduating seniors or equivalent.
The Del Norte LOV Foundation has supported 20 seniors from 2021 – 2022 in their pursuit of higher education. For the second year in a row, the LOV Foundation is increasing the scholarship total available to the community.
”We are very excited to improve lives of youth through our Scholarship Program. Eligible New Mexican high school, equivalent GED, and homeschool senior students can apply for this significant opportunity to support their first semester of higher education this fall. We’re truly living our vision and giving back to our community,” commented Connie Tooker Nuñez, the Del Norte LOV Foundation Director.
The 2023 program offers a total of $16,000 in scholarship awards, including seven awards at $1,000 each with a minimum 2.5 grade point average (GPA) or its equivalent and three awards at $3,000 with a minimum 3.5 GPA or its equivalent.
