ALBUQUERQUE — Albuquerque mayoral candidate Darren White will headline a group of speakers at the Republican Party of New Mexico’s (RPNM) grand opening event at 10 a.m. this Saturday, Dec. 6.

White will be making some of his last remarks before Tuesday’s high-stakes runoff election. This will take place at a critical time for the city of Albuquerque, as many issues such as crime, homelessness, and drugs are spiraling out of control. 

RPNM is set to open its headquarters eight months after being destroyed by a fire bomb in an act of political violence. 

“Political violence has no place in our country,” RPNM Chairwoman Amy Barela said. “We will not back down and our message is clear: the Republican Party of New Mexico is stronger than ever, and we are poised to have our best election cycle yet.”
