Dance Arts Los Alamos (DALA) presents an original ballet production, “Hansel & Gretel” Winterfest Weekend in celebration of DALA’s 20th Anniversary.
This playful and spirited version of the beloved fairytale is an enchanting ballet with magical fairies, colorful Lollipops and adorable woodland creatures.
The ballet features world class choreography by former American Ballet Theatre dancer, Christin Severini, who also returns to the stage in a cameo role as the witch.
This holiday ballet is perfect for the entire family, featuring professionally trained young dancers, lively music and whimsical characters.
“Hansel & Gretel” will be performed at Duane Smith Auditorium at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 and and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8 and 9.
A special “meet the cast” event after the Saturday show welcomes young audience members to experience the magic on stage where Hansel, Gretel, and cast members will be available for photos.
Tickets are available at CB FOX, White Rock Smith’s and at the door: Adults $15, Seniors/Students $10, Children ages four and under free.
