Bandelier Holiday Hours:
- Thanksgiving, Nov. 27 – Park is open dawn to dusk – Visitor Center & Park Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 – Park is open dawn to dusk – Visitor Center & Park Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Christmas Day, Dec. 25 – Park will be Closed. No access to Frijoles Canyon or Tsankawi
- New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31 – Park is open dawn to dusk – Visitor Center & Park Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- New Year’s Day, Jan. 1 – Park is open dawn to dusk – Visitor Center & Park Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bandelier anticipates large crowds during the holidays. Visitors driving into Frijoles Canyon during peak hours (typically between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.) may experience temporary closures to the park as the parking lots reach capacity. Bandelier encourages visitors to arrive before 10 a.m. or after 1 p.m. to avoid the park’s busiest times. Sirphey at Bandelier will be open through Dec. 14 with specials on Thanksgiving Day.
Bandelier thanks the public for its patience and understanding as it makes some adjustments so the Rangers can spend some time with their families and friends during this holiday season.
