Daily Postcard: A Canyon Towhee spotted at Bandelier National Park. Wednesday was National Bird Day in the U.S. and a good day to appreciate our feathered friends. The Canyon Towhee is a common year-round bird at the park. It is mostly brown, slightly smaller than a Robin, and can be seen in the parking lot near the visitor center and along the Main Pueblo Loop Trail. Courtesy/NPS
