Daily Postcard: Although a couple of weeks early for the Festival of Cranes at Bosque del Apache, a Saturday morning visit still reaped a number of breathtaking views. The sunrises, the birds and the habitat are just great … another wonderful New Mexico landmark that is well worth the visit. This year’s Festival of Cranes is scheduled for Nov. 14-19.
