The Visitor Center & Park Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Park will be open dawn to dusk New Year’s Day, Thursday, Jan. 1 and the visitor Center & Park Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Large crowds are anticipated during these holidays. Visitors driving into Frijoles Canyon during peak hours (typically between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.) may experience temporary closures to the park as the parking lots reach capacity.
