COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County officials announced in an update to the community the cause of the countywide Lumen internet and cellular outage on Tuesday, affecting all of Los Alamos County, including White Rock.

Lumen has reported that the exact point of failure has been identified. The damage, a cut fiber line, was caused by construction work north of Santa Fe.

Emergency locates were engaged to allow excavation, and splice crews arrived on site. Service was restored sometime overnight.
