Cumulative Number Of COVID-19 Positive Tests In NM, And Bernalillo, Sandoval & Santa Fe Counties Of April 9

The cumulative number of COVID-19 positive tests in New Mexico and Bernalillo, Sandoval and Santa Fe Counties as of April 9. Note that the Sandoval data is plotted against the right hand axis. These three counties plus Doña Ana, San Juan and McKinley Counties, (see the graph below.) account for 88% of the COVID-19 positive tests results in New Mexico. They account for 85% of the new positive test  results reported today, and 89%  of the new results reported yesterday.  We see that the reported data for 5April to 8 April shows a much lower growth rate for Santa Fe and Sandoval Counties. Although the number of new positive results reported today is largest number of new results reported to date, there is some positive news in that the total number for New Mexico is dropping away from the 5.0 day doubling time fit. Over the last three days the doubling time has been 6.3 days. Created by Marv Alme

The cumulative number of COVID-19 positive tests in Doña Ana, San Juan and McKinley Counties as of April 9. Note that McKinley County has the highest growth rate (shortest doubling time) of the six counties in New Mexico with the largest number of positive COVID-19 tests. Created by Marv Alme
