Culture On Tap Features Art In Public Places April 26

The community is invited to hear the Los Alamos Creative District and Art In Public Places Board discuss public art and the work the board does to acquire, install and maintain the County’s public art collection.

This free event is 5:30 p.m., April 26 via Zoom, click here to register in advance.

Hear Art In Public Places Board Chair Father Theophan and County staff liaison to the Board Katherine Hudspeth talk about the board, how they choose the art to recommend for council to purchase, and decide where to put it.

The presentation will include official County photos of many of the pieces in the art collections (there are more than 250 items in the collections) and be followed by some time for Q&A as always.

The County also is looking for an additional member to join the Art In Public Places Board. To apply for this volunteer position, click here.
