CSD To Host Public Meetings On Integrated Master Plan

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Community Services Department (CSD) will be hosting three public meetings Jan. 25 and 26 to share the results from the development of the new Community Services Integrated Master Plan (IMP).

Berry Dunn, the professional consulting service that assisted in the development of the IMP will be onsite to present the recommended action plan and answer any questions.

These meetings are in person and have Zoom access.

The IMP was developed to assess existing programs, services, and facilities, as well as identify gaps and potential future needs. Key inputs into the recommendations are the CSD survey, focus group meetings, condition assessment, level of service atlas, maintenance practices and the American with Disabilities (ADA) Audit and Transition Plan.

The findings are integrated into an actionable plan among the CSD divisions of Parks, Cultural Services, Social Services, Recreation, Open Space (including the trail network) and the Public Library System.

“This seven to 10-year road map allows CSD to systematically invest and improve programs and services, establish best practices, and prioritize the needs of the community to continuously develop the department, divisions, and quality of life in our community and we look forward to sharing the recommendations with the community,” CSD Director Cory Styron said.

The three public meetings will be held on-site at Fuller Lodge and in the Golf Course Community Room and via Zoom.
