Dear Los Alamos Community,
Many of our neighbors are facing food insecurities and financial struggles due to government furloughs, layoffs and the reduction of food benefits. Pig & Fig, Beef & Leaf, and Sugar & Cream Cafes are partnering with NM Junior Foodies to collect grocery store gift cards and direct donations for LA Cares.
We will match every dollar donated up to $5,000. Donors will receive a restaurant e-gift card of 10% of their donation as a thank you for their contribution. You can drop off grocery gift cards at any of our locations or donate directly through our Square donation link: FOOD IS OUR LOVE LANGUAGE.
LA Cares is an independent, 100% volunteer organization, supported solely through donations that serves any needy person or family living in Los Alamos County.
