Creative Classes Abound at Fuller Lodge Art Center

FLAC News:

Fuller Lodge Art Center will offer art studio experiences for children on Wednesday afternoons.

There are a few single session classes, as well as a number of serial classes.

Longtime Los Alamos artist Thelma Hahn will teach a 4-week “Clay Creations” class, first for grades 1-3, then later in the semester for grades 4-6.

Artist Dee Homans returns with some new classes and also some repeats of popular classes.

Classes will be held Feb. 2 through May 23. The Center also offers adult classes. Check out all the classes at fullerlodgeartcenter.com.

Join Gillian Sutton of KRSN-AM1490 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan 26 for a public bowl painting party during the artist’s reception for “Show Some Class.”

Use your creativity to paint a bowl to benefit the annual Self Help Empty Bowls event set for March 16.

All of the money raised at this event goes directly to support the work of Self Help, Inc. to assist Northern New Mexico families in need of immediate “emergency” type aid, and to encourage the growth of small businesses with seed money grants.

At the Empty Bowls Event, attendees buy a ticket for a soup meal and get to choose one of these bowls to take home.
