Los Alamos County has published its FY16 proposed budget. Interested citizens may access the document from the County’s website at http://www.losalamosnm.us/omb/Pages/BudgetsandReports.aspx.
Reference copies are also available at the Mesa and White Rock public libraries, at the 311 Customer Care Center (Municipal Building – lobby) or at the Office of the County Manager (Municipal Building, Suite 350).
Budget hearings are set for April 20, 21, 27 and 28. All hearings will be 7 p.m. in Council Chambers. Until the Council adopts the budget, it is still open for discussion and change. Citizens unable to attend hearings can comment in a variety of ways:
