Staff Report

Late this afternoon, County workers guided motorists through a stretch of N.M. 4 northeast of the Rover Boulevard intersection where a water main break occurred at approximately 1 p.m. today.

Water crews were dispatched to excavate the area and make repairs, said officials with the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities.

DPU stated that no customers were without water, but some may have experienced low water pressure.

DPU estimates that repairs to the water line should be complete early this evening. Road repairs may take longer.

Traffic control devices are in place to protect crews while repairs are underway. Commuters may experience traffic delays.
