Los Alamos County Environmental Services Department announces that “Tree Cycle 2021” starts next week, Tree Cycle 2020.

The tree cycle runs Jan. 4-8 and Jan. 18-22 and will be collected on residents’ regular trash collection day.

Please remove all lights and ornaments from Christmas trees and maintain a 4-feet distance between the roll-cart and tree and prior to collection.

Once collected, trees will be recycled in mulch. Residents who miss these tree cycle dates may bring their tree to the Eco Station or Overlook Collection Center for free or call for a special brush collection at $25.
