Last month’s move in of all departments at the new Los Alamos County Municipal Building was accomplished on schedule.
A May 21 tour revealed most County staff already settling into their new offices.
Punch list items were discovered since the building has been occupied items and are being taken care of. The Council Chambers is planned to be ready for the June 25 Council Council meeting.
Upcoming Events:
June 5-24 Council Chambers Audio/Video Equipment moves out of Community Building;
June 25 First Council meeting in new Council Chambers;
June 28 Grand Opening and Building Dedication with Public Tours 9-11 a.m. with building dedication hosted by Council following tours.
June 30 Last day of leases for modulars;
July 31 Last day of leases for rental space.
Furniture and excess items will be addressed using a contractor for sale or disposal. Contact the Procurement office with questions about the sale/disposal or contract, 505-661-7087.
