County Seeks Volunteers To Test Website Navigation

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County is seeking volunteers willing to test the navigation structure for a new Los Alamos County website.

The 10-minute online test asks volunteers to perform 11 short tasks to indicate where they expect to find information on the county website. The results will assist the county project team and its consultant in better organizing data on the website to be more intuitive to the web user.

Interested individuals can take the Los Alamos County Website Navigation Test now through the end of the week at https://lacnm.com/Navigation. The County project team requests that volunteers take the test only once, and that preferably volunteers should not be county employees. Other than that, no other restrictions apply.

Last August, Los Alamos County awarded a contract to Granicus, LLC to redesign and host a new county government website with a goal to make the site more user-friendly. The project team has been reviewing analytics of the existing site, soliciting citizen feedback, and now requests navigation feedback. The new site is scheduled to launch in July/August of 2023.

For questions or additional information, email or call Los Alamos County’s Public Information Officer Julie Williams-Hill at julie.williams@lacnm.us or 505.662.8083.
