COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Firefighter John P. Kelley was arrested Friday, Feb. 21 and charged with sexual exploitation of a child/possession.

Pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation and in accordance with personnel policy, Kelley has been placed on inactive duty status and placed on leave without pay.

The County will be monitoring the situation closely and taking further administrative action as appropriate. 

Because this is an ongoing criminal investigation, the County will have no other comment at this time.
