County: Gas Repair Underway Near Lemon Lot

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) crews are repairing a leak on a natural gas main on the northwest corner of Diamond Drive and Trinity Drive.

The leak is on a main line running under a gravel area near the end of the lemon lot.

Crews from DPU’s Gas, Water and Sewer division closed the sidewalk and put traffic cones in place around the work area. Drivers are asked to drive cautiously near the work zone.

At this point in time, crews do not expect any customers to lose gas service during the emergency repair. The repair is expected to be complete by 6 p.m. today.
