County Economic Vitality Administrator Speaking at Lunch with a Leader

LWV News:

The League of Women Voters will have Greg Fisher, Los Alamos’ Economic Vitality Administrator as their speaker for Lunch with a Leader at 11:45 a.m., Thursday June 14.

The luncheon is at the Pajarito Environmental Education Center, 3540 Orange St. (small building across from the back of the high school).

Food will be provided by Ruby K’s. When you RSVP, you will be able to order the sandwich or salad you would like to have. Chips, pickles, and cookies will accompany the meal and water will be provided. The cost is $12, which includes tax and gratuity.

Fisher has worked in numerous communities doing just what he plans to do in our community.

The major focus is on sustaining and expanding LANL research, development activities, and diversifying the economy.

One of the main concerns Fisher has about Los Alamos is growing our population so we can be more competitive.

Prior to coming to Los Alamos, Fisher worked as executive director at Roosevelt County Community Development Corporation in Eastern New Mexico.

In Tucson, he developed a downtown Arts District Plan, managed downtown redevelopment projects, and developed neighborhood plans with a sustainability component.

Contact Karyl Ann Armbruster at 661-6605 or kaskacayman@gmail.com to RSVP.

All members of the community are invited. You do not have to be a member of the the League to come for lunch. If you do not order in advance there will be no food available; however, you are still welcome to attend. You can also bring your own lunch.
