County: Drive With Caution On NM 502 This Weekend

COUNTY News:

Drivers are asked to exercise caution this weekend as emergency utility work along New Mexico State Road 502 may hinder traffic, according to officials from the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU).

DPU contractor Dub-L-EE Construction will be boring alongside N.M. 502 to replace a section of line that failed early Thursday morning. Traffic control devices will be in the westbound lane from Eastgate Drive to Main Gate Park.

Due to public safety concerns, this work needs to be completed as soon as possible and will take place during daylight hours on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.
