During his budget presentation to County Council Tuesday night, Deputy Manager Steve Lynne reports that for the 26th year the Los Alamos County’s finance department has received the cerificate of achievement for excellence in finance reporting for the FY15 comprehensive annual financial report. He emphasized this is a County-wide achievement. Council Vice Chair Susan O’Leary commended the department saying, ‘Congratulations to you and the rest of your team.’ Lynne presented the budget along with Budget and Performance Manager Karen Kendall. The Council tentatively approved the $7,877,681 proposed budget along with a $25,000 budget item for equipment, which includes servers, desktop computers, network cables and other items.
