County Council Tables Amending LAPS Leases

Councilor Vincent Chiravalle proposed an ordinance amending and restating both the Master Ground Lease Agreement and the Airport Basin Lease Agreement between the County and Los Alamos Public Schools. If approved, the changes would result in some $200,000 annually to the schools. Council voted 6-1 to table the measure until the Trinity Site Project is solidified.
